Tend to the relationship that holds everything else

Couples therapy for busy parents who want to feel seen, heard and close again.

When you’re raising kids—especially complex, sensitive, or neurodivergent kids—it’s easy for your relationship to fall to the bottom of the list.

You’re juggling schedules, navigating meltdowns, managing school challenges, and just trying to get through the day.

Conversations become logistical. Resentments quietly simmer. Intimacy takes a back seat. And somewhere along the way, you start feeling more like roommates than romantic partners.

If you’ve experienced this, you should know –

Couples therapy can be a place to come back to each other.

I specialize in working with parents who are doing a lot—especially those practicing connection-based parenting and raising kids with big feelings, unique nervous systems, or extra needs. The stress is real. (I’ve been there!) And it impacts your relationship in ways that deserve care, not blame.

Many couples that I work with are also mixed neurotype couples, meaning that one or both spouses are neurodivergent, sometimes on top of parenting special kiddos.  I bring a neuroaffirming lens, cultivated through both study and experience, including my own experience of parenting in a neurodiverse family system.

My approach is warm, practical, and deeply attuned. I integrate proven tools from the Gottman Method—so you can communicate more clearly, repair conflict more effectively, and rebuild trust—with Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, which helps you understand the deeper emotional patterns that get activated under stress.

Together, we’ll slow things down and make space for what’s actually happening beneath the surface—so you can respond to each other with more clarity, compassion, and choice.

In our work, you can expect to:

  • Break out of stuck conflict cycles
  • Feel heard and understood again
  • Learn how to repair quickly after tension
  • Navigate parenting stress without turning on each other
  • Rebuild emotional and physical connection
  • Show up as a more aligned, resilient team

You don’t need more pressure or more advice. You need a space where both of you can exhale—and find your way back to each other.

If you’re ready for that, I’d be honored to support you.
